THE MUSICAL JOURNEY OF GARY WILSON

Updated: Apr 5, 2021

Hi, everyone! Last week, I sat down with the mysterious, yet legendary musician Gary Wilson. Known as "The King of Endicott", he had become very musically involved at a young age through garage bands and high school orchestras. He told me many of his amazing stories from his youth during the interview. However, Wilson is best known for releasing his debut You Think You Really Know Me in 1977. He soon disappeared from the public eye by playing smaller gigs and keeping a low profile. However, he gained newfound fame in the 90s after Beck name-dropped him in his award-winning song "Where It's At". Wilson made a return to music in the early 2000s, and has been an influence of many musicians in today's society. I love so much of Gary's music, and I was incredibly fortunate to have him here on bazzreviews. I have included the interview with Gary below, as it's one you won't want to miss. Happy listening!

Edit (4/5/21): Tried uploading the audio file- too big for this sit. Email me (bazzreviews@gmail.com) for the file and I'll send it to you!
